Bookings and/or booking enquiries can be made via the form below. The form content is emailed to RedBach and provides the information required for a booking. Your booking or enquiry will be acknowledged and confirmed via the contact details you provide.
Bookings must be made via the form below, but for your convenience you can make enquiries by using the form or via phone or text.

Rates
- Room rates are the same all year round.
- Basic rate is $60 per person per night.
- There is a minimum booking of two nights.
- Minimum rate for two nights is $480, includes four guests for two nights.
- Additional nights are $60 per person, per night.
- If you book six nights, you can have an extra night FREE.
- Group bookings available on request.
- Payment to be made via Direct Deposit (internet banking).
- Account details will be advised with emailed confirmation of booking advice.
- The booking will be confirmed when payment is received in RedBach account.
- A full refund will be given if cancellation is made at least 14 days before arrival date.
- A 50% refund will be given if cancelled between 14 days and at least 7 days prior to arrival date.
- No refund available if booking cancelled less than 7 days before booked arrival date.
- Check-in and check-out times are negotiable.

Our family gathered from various parts of the North Island for our father's 85 th birthday. Great to have the main indoor kitchen and dining area with the option to use the b que and dart board on the decked area.
The separate sleeping options worked so well to accommodate those from 7- 85 years. The fully fenced section allowed our dog to join the party too. The facilities were very clean and tidy, with lots of twists of fun expressed through the art and sculptures inside and out.
Thank you, Barbara, for being a most accommodating host.
Will definitely like to return again to hear the sounds of the surf and explore the beach further.

Our group of 6-8 friends love to get together at the Red Bach Retreat at least twice a year. Barbara and Terry are wonderful hosts where nothing is a problem as they want to ensure their guests have all they need for an enjoyable stay. Being near the beach we hear the surf at night which is very soothing. Long walks along the beach are the best!
We have just stayed at Redbach Retreat, we could not have asked for better hosts than Barbara and Terry, they were friendly, interesting and very accommodating. The Redbach was spotless and very quirky and was perfect for what we were wanting.
We will definitely be back to see you Barbara, and thankyou again for being a wonderful hosts 🙂
We recently stayed at Red Bach Retreat with 9 of us in total, and we all totally loved it!! Barbara and Terry are the most welcoming hosts and the bach is well equipped and set up and very clean and comfortable. We will definately be hoping to secure our booking at red bach for future stays.
A huge thank you to Barbara and Terry. We had a wonderful weekend relaxing with long walks on the beach and reading in the hammock. The weather wasn’t great but we were comfy and warm, with all we needed.

A wonderful character-filled bach with a fifties vibe. It is comfortable, well set-up and has fabulous outdoor living space enhanced by Barbara's art works. Well-fenced and ample outside space would also suit families. New kitchen is spacious and well-equipped. A perfect place for rest, relaxing and long beach walks. Barbara and Terry are great hosts and made us feel very welcome. We look forward to a return visit.

Such a beautiful little bach. Host and hostess attended to all needs very quickly, even offered rides down the beach. Could not recommend more. One of the nicest accommodations we have ever stayed in. Would definitely return back to.

The RedBach Retreat is amazing! The rooms were clean, beds were extremely comfy and the hosts Barbara & Terry were amazingly friendly. Stayed 2 nights and the bonus for our group of 8 was having two fully equipped kitchens. Would definitely return again. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights with several other couples, we had a lovely relaxing time, fishing, walking, biking. Barbara and her husband were extremely welcoming and went out of their way to offer advise and show us the area. Some friends did crafts with Barbara.
The accommodation was very clean well equipped and delightfully quirky

Enjoyed my 2 days at RedBach. Interesting quirky space which was very comfortable Was with 5 other couples and we all enjoyed. Close to beach and great bike ride thru forest. Recommend
My first visit to Redbach was last weekend to do a workshop. I absolutely love this place it is just magical. The facilities are amazing and nothing is too much trouble for Barbara, a wonderful host. Everywhere you turn there is something whimsical to soak up. The craft room is amazing, I can't wait to return .
What a gem Barbara and Terry have created. A visual feast with all Barbara's creations, along with such well kept, clean and interesting buildings. I simply had to stop to make sure I saw and soaked in everything around me. The workshop area was really warm, full of light and space - a fabulous place for any group creative gathering. I can't wait to come back for our next retreat.
Superlatives abound for this unique, quirky, fascinating, get-away. Barbara and Terry are wonderful hosts - the best there are. Their retreat is Home-Away-From-Home style, and their creativity is boundless. RedBach is a must-go destination for short stays, quiet relaxation, creative stimulation, individual or group time-out opportunities. Absolutely fabulous family weekend away.!! Red Bach Retreat is even better than it looks on the website and Barbara and Terry are wonderful hosts. We will definitely be back - 3 generations and the dog had a truly wonderful time.

We had the most wonderful time here with our two kids (age 7 and 10). Barbara and Terry are fantastic hosts who have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable. All the cabins are spotless, the beds super comfortable, and they have electric blankets and heaters for chilly nights. The main house is cosy and inviting, and the covered seating area outside would be awesome in summer. The weather wasn't great while we were here but the beach was still wild and beautiful, and the forest provided a sheltered alternative for windy days. The kids loved playing hide and seek and exploring all the nooks and crannies around the property, and there were heaps of board games and books to keep us all entertained. They didn't even miss not having a TV (although they did watch Netflix on the iPad a couple of rainy nights!)
Thank you both for giving us all such a memorable experience. The kids miss you and the dogs already! We'll be back in summer for sure.

We had the best weekend at the Red Bach Retreat - perfect place to unwind and spend time with family and friends (including the dog!). The hosts are excellent - highly recommend!
Congratulations Barbara and Terry on creating a wonderful, comfortable, relaxing and fascinating retreat. Our group of 7 adult trampers enjoyed exploring the forest, coastline and the estuary, and the cosy indoors when it rained. Thanks for being so generous and for sharing your local knowledge.
Cocooned in the most comfortable bed on a rainy night was the perfect finish to a day where the creative juices flowed, inspired by the surroundings and people the retreat was shared with. Was just what I needed and will definitely return. Thanks to the hosts for making Redbach so special

The perfect escape, where you can hide or wander around an idyllic kiwi beach bach settlement. Communal areas and separate single units on offer. Quirky, creative art gardens and beach walks at the back door. Time to reflect, write, recharge, with gorgeous hosts at your service.
A fabulous place to relax and retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. A comfortable, quirky and inspiring place to write. Thank you so much to generous hosts Barbara and Terry. I’ll definitely be returning.
There are not enough superlatives with which to sing the praises of this place. It totally lives up to the description of quirky but it is not quirky at a cost. Everything is 50s bach style, but immaculate. Great bed. Best sleep I've had for ages.
