Are you looking for a quiet place where you can write or work on your next project? RedBach has been specifically designed and created as a writers and artists retreat, but it is also a great place to rest and relax. Come and stay in this quirky, retro environment, in the sea-side village of Koitiata, where you can feel the sea breeze from Turakina Beach while you create your next masterpiece or just unwind.
Just a few minutes walk to the beach, RedBach Retreat is centrally located in the lower North Island and is easily accessible by car. It is a short drive from Whanganui or Palmerston North airports and pick-ups/drop-offs are available.
RedBach Retreat was originally the Red Bach gallery where Barbara created her copper sculptures. After closing her gallery and following a conversation with New Zealand author and mentor, Joan Rosier-Jones, Barbara and Terry decided to turn their gallery into a retro and iconic beach retreat. Many hours have since gone into creating a place where people can relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of modern-day life. It is now a space where you can be alone, or meet like-minded people and rejuvenate your artistic mind, whether writing a book or working on an art project.
Welcome to our slice of paradise. We hope you enjoy your stay.
